ROOTED IN FAMILY. RAISED ON AGRICULTURE. GROWING FOR THE NEXT GENERATION.

The Griggs family has been farming in North and South Carolina for more than 100 years. Our story began along the border of Anson County, North Carolina, and Chesterfield County, South Carolina, where generations of our family built a life around agriculture, livestock and the land. Over the years, that meant raising cattle and horses, growing crops, baling hay and continuing the traditions passed down from one generation to the next.

Today, Borderline Farm has grown to include farmland in Harnett County, North Carolina, but our connection to those original family roots remains at the heart of everything we do.

What began as a working family farm is continuing to grow into something we can share with others — through farm experiences, agricultural education, special events, venue rentals and locally raised beef. We believe there is something meaningful about knowing where your food comes from, understanding how a farm works, gathering with people you love, and giving children the chance to experience agriculture firsthand.

Here We Grow Again

Borderline Farm is still very much a working farm, but we are also creating new ways for people to experience it. From cattle in the pasture and seasonal farm activities to celebrations at The Barn and future farm-to-table offerings, we’re excited to share the next chapter of a farm story that began more than a century ago.

Welcome to Borderline Farm. We’re glad you’re here.
